Padre Pio Holy Card - St. Pio vintage Prayer Card

A vintage Padre Pio holy card holding an ex-indumentis relic of the saint of Pietrelcina - printed in the years when the Church still called him Venerabile.

• Size: 4 1/4 x 3 inches (7.5 cm)
• Format: Folded holy card, prayers in Italian
• Condition: Vintage original, from a Catholic convent
• Relic: Ex-indumentis relic (a small piece of a vestment) with postulator seal
• Devotion: Recently touched to the shrine of Saint Pio
• Shipping: Ships from Rome, Italy

The cover photograph catches Padre Pio in profile at the altar, mid-Mass - the moment his devotees treasured most. Cards printed with the title Venerabile predate his 2002 canonization, so this is both a relic card for daily prayer and a small dated artifact from the years his cause was still advancing.
